Discharge was filmed for a film competition. The theme of the competition was "Smoke and Mirrors". We didn't want to make the typical movie that would include both smoke and mirrors or a con of some sort. Instead, we focused this film on the smoke and mirrors of policy. This film was written in one night, filmed on another day and edited another.
